A Flying Hórses Soirée - Poster - Rolf Klausener

To celebrate the release of her latest album, Ottawa-based composer/pianist Flying Hórses wanted to bring together some of her favourite songwriters for an informal night of musical communion. I wanted to communicate the warmth and simplicity of the event and candle light sprung to mind immediately. I rescanned and pulled this candle element from within a larger 1913 plate from the J.G. Schelter & Giesecke foundry. The texture overlay came from a scan from my personal library.
